P&O Cruises - A British Favourite
P&O Cruises is a popular UK based cruise line (part of Carnival UK since 2003). Founded in 1837 it is the oldest cruise line in the World. The fleet currently consists of 7 ships. Typically British, each ship is easily recognizable by the Union Jack livery emblazoned across the hull. Most ships sail from Southampton during the Spring/Summer months before re-positioning to Caribbean and the Med. Some ships offer short-break cruises to Europe during the winter (such as Christmas Market Cruises). P&O passengers tend to adhere to dress code on Formal/Black Tie/Gala nights. Entertainment is geared to British tastes with production shows, music, quizzes, karaoke etc.
