How Much are Drinks on P&O Cruises 2026?

For sailings, P&O Cruises has completely overhauled its drinks framework by launching optional All-Inclusive Holiday Packages. Instead of stand-alone beverage plans, the new packages bundle your favorite drinks together with onboard Wi-Fi and specialty dining credits. Here is the latest look at what is included and what you will pay extra for

What drinks are served on board P&O Cruises and how much do they cost?

Fully updated August 2026

One of the most frequent questions I get asked is the price of drinks on P&O Cruises, and whether or not they are expensive.

It helps to have an idea of the cost of alcoholic drinks and other beverages before your cruise so that you can make an informed choice on whether or not to take a drinks package. (see related links below).

What’s Included

Regular tea and coffee from buffet restaurants are incuded

Not everything onboard P&O Cruises requires a drinks package – in fact, there are quite a few complimentary options to keep you refreshed throughout your holiday.

Included in your cruise fare:

  • Filtered water is available free of charge in the buffet and restaurants.

  • Unlimited tea, coffee and fruit squash are available in the buffet restaurants.

At breakfast, you can help yourself to fruit juice (usually orange, apple or cranberry).

  • In the main dining rooms, still water, tea and coffee are included with your meal.

  • Your cabin includes a kettle with tea and coffee sachets, replenished daily.

and What’s Not

Not included (charged separately unless you have a drinks package):

  • Bottled water (still or sparkling)

  • Canned soft drinks like Coca-Cola or lemonade

  • Costa Coffee or barista-made drinks

  • Alcoholic drinks (beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, etc.)

  • Mocktails and smoothies

You can either pay for these extras as you go or opt for a drinks package if you plan to indulge regularly. Even without a package, you’ll find reasonably priced drinks and plenty of hydration options included at no extra cost.

P&O Cruises "All-In" All-Inclusive Packages Explained

If you booked a P&O Cruises holiday departing from March 2026 onwards, you will encounter a major change in how drinks are sold. P&O Cruises has introduced permanent All-Inclusive Holiday Packages that bundle their classic beverage options with extra onboard perks.

Instead of purchasing a standalone drinks package later, you can upgrade your cruise fare to "All-Inclusive" at the time of booking to unlock up to 32% in savings compared to buying the amenities separately onboard.

What is Included in the All-Inclusive Upgrades?

P&O offers two tiers of this fare upgrade for voyages of 5 nights or more:

  • All-Inclusive Classic (From £49pp / day): Includes the standard Classic Drinks Package (beers, spirits, cocktails up to £8.50), the Essential Wi-Fi plan for one device, and a specialty dining credit.

  • All-Inclusive Deluxe (From £59pp / day): Includes the premium Deluxe Drinks Package (top-shelf spirits, cocktails up to £9.50), the high-speed Ultimate Wi-Fi plan, and an enhanced specialty dining credit.
