Launching in November 2025, Celebrity Xcel is the newest addition to the cruise line’s award-winning Edge® Series. Through Xcel ‘Dream Makers’, travellers will have the opportunity to test, vote on, and refine new experiences, ensuring the ship delivers a next-level holiday experience tailored to guests’ preferences.

How Dream Makers Will Shape Celebrity Xcel
Dream Makers will have the final say on major elements of Celebrity Xcel’s experience. Their decisions will influence:
Interior Design & Ambience – Selecting textiles, curating design elements, and refining service offerings.
Dining & Cuisine – Choosing standout dishes, beverages, table settings, and dining concepts.
Entertainment & Shows – Picking headline performances, curating props and costumes, selecting playlists, and even shaping key entertainment roles.
Through online polls and immersive in-person events, Dream Makers will play an active role in shaping the ship’s seven new, yet-to-be-revealed experiences.
A Groundbreaking Ship with Sustainability at Its Core
The development of Celebrity Xcel has already reached a major milestone, with the ship floating out of dry dock on 18 January 2025 at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. This marks the completion of the ship’s exterior and brings her one step closer to welcoming guests.
Beyond its innovative design, Celebrity Xcel will also advance Royal Caribbean Group’s commitment to sustainability. It will be the first ship in the fleet to feature a tri-fuel capable engine, representing a significant step towards the company’s Destination Net Zero vision—its goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
Where Will Celebrity Xcel Sail?

Celebrity Xcel will embark on her inaugural season from Fort Lauderdale, offering seven-night Caribbean itineraries, stopping at stunning destinations such as:

In Summer 2026, she will set sail for her first European season, with itineraries ranging from seven to eleven nights, departing from Barcelona and Athens. These voyages will feature new overnight stays in Madeira, Portugal, allowing guests to immerse themselves in Mediterranean culture like never before.
