Small Yacht Luxury - Emerald Azzurra
If, like me, you lust after those beautifully sleek yachts basking in the sun when you are in port, you will love this ship from Emerald Cruises.
Launched in January 2022, Emerald Azzurra was the first custom-built ocean superyacht from Emerald Cruises – offering a luxury cruising experience to small ports and harbours only accessible to small ships. The superyacht carries just 100 guests across 50 deluxe suites and staterooms, with majority of cabins benefiting from their own private balcony.
What do we know about Emerald Azzurra?
This beautiful superyacht was built by Shipbuilder Halong Shipbuilding Company (Ha Long City, Vietnam). She is classified as a Mega Yacht, and is owned by Scenic Group (Australia) and operated by Emerald Yacht Cruises. She is capable of a speed of 22 kn / 41 kph / 25 mph. Emerald Azzurra is 110 m / 361 ft long and has a Gross Tonnage of 5300 gt. She has seven decks, four of which have cabins, and can carry 100 passengers and 68 crew.
Emerald Azzurra features a variety of areas to dine and relax and an on board wellness centre, complete with a spa, gym, and sauna for the ultimate indulgence, as well as three tenders and a Zodiac. The superyacht’s marina platform is designed for easy access to snorkelling, paddle boarding and swimming – just some of the many activities included.
Emerald Azzurra is set to return to the Caribbean for the winter 2025-2026 season. This deployment replaces its previous Red Sea and Seychelles itineraries. The yacht will offer enhanced Caribbean itineraries, with weekly sailings between San Juan, Puerto Rico, and St. John’s, Antigua. Passengers can look forward to visiting more secluded destinations, including Culebra, Vieques Island, and Cruz Bay in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Emerald Azzurra Review
Much as I’d love to bring you my first-hand experience of this luxurious yacht, sadly I’ve not had the pleasure. However my friend Emma LeTeace, who you may follow on You Tube, was recently lucky to be invited onboard. You can read her full review HERE, and watch her video below:
Emerald Azzurra is the perfect choice for those with a generous travel budget, and should definitely be topping your seafaring bucket list - I know it’s on mine.
