Marella Cruises Brings Back Adult-Only Country Music Cruise for 2027
Country music fans will once again be able to swap cowboy boots for cruise decks as Marella Cruises has confirmed the return of its popular Country Rhythms themed sailing for winter 2027.
Following strong demand for its inaugural country music cruise in 2026, the TUI-owned cruise line has announced not one, but two adults-only sailings aboard Marella Explorer, packed with live country music, themed entertainment and Western-inspired activities.
The cruises will go on sale from 2 July 2026.
Country music at sea
Designed exclusively for adults, Country Rhythms promises several days of live performances and themed events celebrating one of the world’s fastest-growing music genres.
While the full entertainment programme has yet to be revealed, Marella says guests can expect:
Live country music singers and bands
Country-themed production shows
Line dancing classes
A lively Barn Dance bash
Country-inspired activities throughout the sailing
The cruise line says further artist announcements will follow closer to departure.
Two Country Rhythms sailings for 2027
Guests can choose between two itineraries sailing from Malaga in Spain.

Prices start from £749 per person, with Marella’s all-inclusive package included.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife
The second sailing offers an extra night onboard and finishes in Tenerife.

Both cruises will feature TUI Airways flights from six UK airports:
London Gatwick
Bristol
Manchester
Newcastle
Glasgow
Belfast
This allows guests from across the UK to join the themed sailings without needing to arrange separate flights.
Marella builds on themed cruise success
Chris Hackney, CEO of Marella Cruises, said the cruise line was encouraged by the popularity of the first Country Rhythms sailing.
He said demand and customer feedback had demonstrated strong interest from both existing and new customers looking for themed cruise experiences combined with Marella’s all-inclusive offering.
He also hinted that more announcements relating to Country Rhythms 2027 will be made in the coming months.
