Cunard and Harper's Bazaar Reveal Wellness Partnership for Queen Anne
Cunard And Harper's Bazaar UK Unveil Exclusive Wellness Programs Aboard Queen Anne
Cunard has a reputation for exclusivity and specially curated experiences, and last year won Best for Wellness & Enrichment at the 2023 Wave Awards.
Now Luxury cruise line Cunard has joined forces with Harper’s Bazaar UK, a renowned fashion and beauty magazine, to introduce a bespoke wellness program for guests sailing on the new Queen Anne. The 3,000-guest vessel is scheduled for its maiden voyage on May 3, and will feature three distinct spa packages under the Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea initiative.
Designed to focus on detoxing, energizing, or relaxing, each three-day program, available for an additional charge of US$629, includes curated spa treatments, premium ELEMIS products, and nutritionally balanced dining options from Queen Anne’s The Pavilion Wellness Café.
The Harper's Bazaar Detox Journey emphasizes clean living habits, featuring cryo-body detox and body sculpting treatments. The Energise Journey empowers guests through mindful eating, massage, and movement, including a bamboo massage. Meanwhile, the Relax Journey offers soothing treatments like a restorative salt stone massage to reset the nervous system.
As part of these packages, guests will receive a selection of ELEMIS products to complement their wellness journey. This collaboration marks a new chapter in Cunard's award-winning wellness offerings, with Queen Anne featuring an extensive selection of fitness, beauty, thermal, and spa facilities.
Queen Anne’s reimagined Mareel Wellness & Beauty offering aims to provide enriching experiences, leaving guests feeling radiant from the inside out. The Pavilion, an open-air oasis on the top deck designed by David Collins Studio, includes the Wellness Studio for fitness enthusiasts and The Pavilion Wellness Café offering vibrant, nutritious dishes.
Renowned architect Martin Francis led the redesign of the glass dome, creating a tranquil sanctuary for unique experiences like cryo-body treatments and a Himalayan salt sauna and cold room.
The Pavilion Wellness Café on Queen Anne caters to breakfast, lunch, and daytime diners, featuring a variety of plant-powered foods and sustainably sourced options. The ship also boasts an extensive selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks, including feel-good smoothies, shots, and cold-pressed juices.
Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, expressed her excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing wellness as an important part of luxury ocean travel:
“Wellness is such an integral part of luxury ocean travel in the modern age and we’re so excited to be collaborating with Harper’s Bazaar UK to deliver an elevated wellbeing offering for Queen Anne.
