Key Facts about Celebrity Beyond
Celebrity Beyond is the third Edge Class ship to join the Celebrity Fleet. At 140,600 gt, with a length of 327 m (1073 ft ) and a width of 39 m (28 ft), the ship has 16 wonderful decks to explore, ten of which offer accommodation. Celebrity Beyond has a total of 1646 staterooms for 3276 passengers (max capacity is 3950). 81% of cabins are Balcony, 10% Oceanview, 9 % Inside. There are 1305 cabins offering triple/quad occupancy and 178 inter-connecting staterooms. There are 25 wheelchair-accessible cabins.
Let me show you Celebrity Beyond deck by deck, although I should state that at the time of writing this post Celebrity Beyond has yet to be finally revealed in all her glory but these are the deck plans currently available. So whilst I think there are unlikely to be any major changes to these, I recommend checking Celebrity Cruises website for the most up to date deck plans. Once I’ve been onboard, I will upload current photos.

Celebrity Beyond Deck 17 - The Retreat SUndeck
This is probably the most photogenic, and therefore most photographed, of all decks on Celebrity Beyond featuring as it does the suite-exclusive Retreat Sundeck. The Retreat is a 3-deck-high luxurious area for Suite guests - or in the words of Celebrity Cruises “A place so exclusive it has no address”.
The Retreat Sundeck is the top deck of the three storey Retreat and is located forward on deck 17. It is an outdoor area including The Retreat Bar, the circular Retreat Pool, two cantilevered plunge pools, premium deck furniture (deckchairs, padded loungers, cushioned sofas, daybeds etc.), cabanas available for rent and of course outdoor showers and restrooms. Celebrity Beyond Deck 16

The front-to-mid section of Deck 16 is the second storey of The Retreat, and consists of the Lower Retreat Sundeck with more luxurious seating, plus the Luminae at the Retreat restaurant exclusive to Suite guests. The Retreat's Edge Villas (2-deck accommodations) have direct access to The Retreat Sundeck.
The only staterooms on this deck are the upper level of the fabulous grade EV Edge Villas (Port Side) 15101, 15103 and (Starboard) 15100, 15102, 15104, 15106. They feature two upstairs bedrooms, a downstairs livin* area and their very own plunge pool.
Midship Deck 16
Outside the entrance to The Retreat is a glass multi-faceted dome roof covering The Solarium'pool below on deck 14. There is also a jogging circuit which continues from Deck 15 below. On either end of the track (both port side) there is a glass-walled jacuzzi/hot tub and on the starboard side is the Magic Carpet.
The Magic Carpet is the world’s first cantilevered glass roofed open floating platform, spanning 13 storeys above sea level, offering a versatile space which on Deck 16 hosts evening events such as ‘Dinner on the Edge’ with seating for up to 60 guests.
Also Starboard on Deck 16 you will find the Mast Bar and Grill., a complimentary daytime fast food outlet.
Celebrity Beyond Deck 15
Forward Deck 15
At the very front (Fore) of Deck 15, you will find the expansive Fitness Center with its floor-to-ceiling windows and fabulous ocean views. The Fitness Center is equipped with the latest Technogym machines and cardio equipment. There is a revolutionary fitness programme from F45 Training available alongside leading cycling/spin experience from Peloton®, RYDE (cycling classes, Hot Yoga and much more (see my related post here).
There are two rooms for private/group classes on the starboard side, named Motion A & Motion B respectively.
In addition to the Lower/Mezzanine floors of the 2-storey Edge Suites (15100-15106), Deck 15 is where you will find the suite-exclusive Retreat Lounge.
MIDSHIP DECK 15
Another way to keep fit is by taking to the jogging track. The lower loop of the jogging track continues (or begins depending on your viewpoint) circling the mid-section of Deck 15 with sun loungers on either side of it.
AFT DECK 15
The Rooftop Garden
The stunning Rooftop Garden is an ultra-modern rooftop lounge/green space with panoramic sea views. an LED Movie Screen and two cantilevered hot-tubs on the starboard side.
Designed by world-class designer Kelly Hoppen CBE and architect Tom Wright, the Rooftop Garden invites guests day or night to relax or play. Whether it’s lounging under one of the shaded seating areas, dancing the night away, or gazing up at the stars as the ship glides over the sea below, the Rooftop Garden offers something for everyone to escape reality.
The Rooftop Grill
To the rear of The Rooftop Garden you will find The Rooftop Grill, an outdoor speciality restaurant serving delicious premium BBQ styled food.
Sunset Bar
At the very back of the ship, Aft Port Side, you will find the ever popular Sunset Bar surrounded by chillout seating.
Destined to be one of the most popular venues on Celebrity Beyond, the Nate Berkus-designed Sunset Bar is nearly twice as large as previous versions on other ships. The Moroccan-inspired escape, with conversation niches and covered enclaves, is reminiscent of a modern-day Casablanca and sure to be one of the hottest spots at sea. Guests enter through a pergola-covered entrance and Sunset Bar’s cascading terraces combine to provide the perfect place to soak in spectacular views and create unforgettable memories.
Celebrity Beyond Deck 14
Forward Deck 14
Wellness is at the heart of a cruise on Celebrity Beyond (see my related post HERE).
At the very front of Deck 14 you will find all things pampering: Thermal Sea Suites; The Spa with changing rooms; Relaxation Room (Port); The Salon and Barber Shop (both Port); The Spa Cafe and Juice Bar (port); with spa treatment rooms on the starboard side.
The Spa on Celebrity Beyond
Whether you want to clear your mind, fine-tune your body, reinvigorate your spirit, or all of the above, The Spa on Celebrity Beyond is a 13,907-square-foot escape featuring more than 120 unique treatments, many inspired by the destination’s the ship visits. Choose from a number of enticing services, each one ending with the mellow tones of sound therapy. Special treatments and therapies include the Salt Stone Therapy, ELEMIS® Thousand Flower Detox Wrap, and Thai Herbal Poultice Massage—just to name a few.
Thermal Sea Suites
At the heart of The Spa, the SEA Thermal Suite is a playground for the senses with eight distinct spaces to navigate your own path to wellness. At every turn of your sailing, you’ll find ways to fully restore yourself. This is my own favourite part of the spa - I’m not really one for treatments or massages.
Relaxation Room
With expansive sea views, the beautiful Relaxation Lounge aboard Celebrity Beyond offers guests a space to rest, relax and restore before and after their treatments.
Salon on Celebrity Beyond

On Celebrity Beyond, guests will experience a couture styling session that merges exclusive products with technology and superior service that is nothing short of divine.
Midships Deck 14
Mid-forward you will find the glass domed Solarium with pool and hot tubs.
Midships on Deck 14 is the Mast Grill (starboard) and main pool deck with pool bar, sun loungers and the Beyond Cabanas. Port side you will find Il Secondo Bacio.
Aft Deck 14
Aft on Deck 14 is home to the Oceanview Cafe.
Celebrity Beyond - Decks 6-12
Decks 6-12 are Celebrity Beyond’s main accommodation decks, with no public spaces. To find the location of your cabin or to preview before booking check out my Celebrity Beyond Deck Plans.

Celebrity Beyond Deck 5
There is no accommodation on Deck 5, but lots of fabulous public areas.
FORWARD DECK 5
Forward is the Upper level of the three-deck theatre. In the Theatre on Celebrity Beyond, you will have a perfect view of the stage from any seat. The Theatre introduces all-new production shows, exclusive to Celebrity Beyond and brought to life through state-of-the-art technology. A 20-foot-tall 4K LED screen comprised of 17 million pixels curves 110 feet around the stage and integrates with new floor projection technology to immerse you like never before. It all adds up to the most technologically advanced theatre in the fleet.
There is also the Captains Club & Concierge Bar/Lounge; The Club - upper level of 2) (see above) is the dual purpose venue for dancing and live performances, and The Art Gallery.
MIDSHIPS DECK 5
Midships: The stunning Grand Plaza, flanked by speciality restaurants Fine Cut Steakhouse (Port) and Raw on 5 (Starboard), plus the Magic Carpet.
At the core of Celebrity Beyond’s vision of luxury is the Grand Plaza, a transformational place at the center of the ship designed by Jouin Manku — the team responsible for designing the Jules Verne restaurant in the Eiffel Tower — and offering a different experience with every visit. Inspired by the piazzas of Italy. The Grand Plaza spans three decks at the heart of the ship, boldly declaring it is the place to see and be seen. Larger than Grand Plazas on its sister Edge Series ships, designers moved the Martini Bar into the center of the venue as a full, circular bar, with an iconic LED chandelier hanging above and casting an inviting glow at all hours.
Mid-Aft is where you will find the Aqua Class Restaurant Blu reserved for Aqua Class guests, and also the Boutique Shop.
AFT DECK 5
Aft is where Eden Cafe and bar is situated with a ramp up to Deck 6. By day, Eden offers a green oasis and cafe/bar with stunning views. At night, Eden is an ever-evolving experience that transforms throughout your holiday. A series of tantalizing nightly events take place all designed to awaken your sense of wonder in unique and exciting ways. Each night you visit Eden, you’ll encounter a new fusion of music, libations, and interactive experiences unlike anything else at sea.
Celebrity Beyond Deck 4
Forward Deck 4
Forward is The Theatre (second level of three). Port Side is The Meeting Place ( Conference Room), and the lower level of The Club; whilst The Celebrity Shops are on Starboard side together with the Future. Raise. Aviation’s desk, the Photo Studio, Shore Excursions desk and the Photo Gallery.
Midships Deck 4
The Grand Atrium takes centre-stage flanked by speciality restaurants Le Voyage and Le Grand.Bistro on the Port side, and the Cafe Al Bacio on Starboard side. The fabulous chandelier features in its own show - The Grand Plaza Chandelier Show., a coordinated light and music extravaganza.
On the other side of the Grand Atrium is The Casino (Port), and more Celebrity Shops (Starboard). The “To be Revealed” area has now been unveiled as The Craft Social Bar serving wines and beer by the glass.
Aft Deck 4
Two of the four complimentary Main Dining Rooms (MDR) are situated here: Cosmopolitan Restaurant (Port Side) serving American and globally influenced food, and the Cypriot Restaurant (Starboard Side) offering a nod to the brands original Greek heritage. The lower level of Eden featuring the Premium Eden Restaurant is at the very end of Deck 4.
Celebrity Beyond Deck 3
On Deck 3 you will find a combination of accommodation and public areas. Cabins comprise Inside, Deluxe Inside and Ocean View Staterooms (see Key above).
Forward on Deck 3
The lower level of The Theatre is found forward on Deck 3, together with Celebrity Beyond’s youth program area, Camp at Sea.
Midships on Deck 3
The Lower area of The Grand Plaza is here with The Martini Bar on its starboard side. At the aft side of the Grand Atrium is Guest Relations (Port) and ILounge - internet/computer room (starboard).
Aft on Deck 3
This is where you will find the remaining MDRs - Normandie Restaurant (Port) and the Tuscan Restaurant (Starboard).
Celebrity Beyond Deck 2
In addition to the Ships medical centre, Deck 2 has been put to additional use. Midships on the starboard side is the Magic Carpet, which when on this level serves as a tender embarkation platform.
Midships is also where you will find Destination Getaway which is a VIP embarkation lounge, also used for Port talks and enrichment program. The Basement is the Teens Club.
