Global star Nicole Scherzinger officially named P&O Cruises newest ship Arvia yesterday (16 March 2023) in a spectacular beachside ceremony in Barbados.

Chart-topper Olly Murs performed his best loved hits at the ceremony, which was held both on board Arvia’s SkyDome and from Heywood’s Beach. The event was hosted by two of the UK’s most popular broadcasters and DJs, Sara Cox and Trevor Nelson.

Godmother Nicole Scherzinger carried out her duties impeccably, naming the ship with the customary bottle smash, but with a difference. The bottle was a specially commissioned bottle of rum, instead of the customary champagne. Nicole then treated guests and viewers to a fabulous performance.
