Whilst Covid-19 is a fast-moving, ever-changing situation, as cruising recommences guests want to know what has been put in place to keep them safe.

Here is a quick-look checklist including the main protocols and requirements on Royal Caribbean Cruises, specifically UK sailings of Anthem of the Seas. They are correct at times of writing, but do check the Royal Caribbean Website to check current position..

TESTING

Vaccinated Guests must bring the negative result of an PCR test for COVID-19 taken within 3 days of sailing (complimentary following pre-registration). Whilst currently Guests under 18 years of age are not required to be vaccinated, they must take a complimentary rapid antigen test at the terminal and receive a negative result in order to sail.

All tests administered at the terminal will be at the expense of Royal Carribean. Guests with positive COVID-19 test results, as well as those in their travel party, will be denied boarding.

Evidence

Vaccination status on the NHS App or provide a valid NHS vaccination certificate.

RT-PCR Test Result: Vaccinated guests will need to present a negative test result for an PCR test for COVID-19 taken within 3 days of sailing. Guests must present their test certificate at the port which can be a paper or digital version.

Royal Caribbean definition of “vaccinated” - a minimum of fourteen days following the second dose of the currently approved Covid-19 vaccines being administered, or 14 days following the recently approved single-dose Janssen Covid-19 vaccine being administered.
