The Keel & Cow Menu Refresh Summer 2026

P&O Cruises has introduced a major menu makeover at its signature gastropub, The Keel & Cow, available exclusively on board its two largest ships, Arvia and Iona. Rolled out in early July 2026, the updated menu strikes a perfect balance between premium steakhouse sophistication and relaxed British pub classics.

Fresh Starters and Lighter Summer Bites

The meal begins with an expanded selection of starters that elevate traditional pub choices into modern, flavourful plates. Highlights include a rich chicken liver and brandy parfait, a king prawn cocktail, and a southern-fried chicken starter served with a rich truffle aioli and parmesan shavings. For a unique British twist, guests can also try the new salmon Scotch egg, paired perfectly with a tangy masala mayo and fresh lime.

Elevated Mains and Expanded Vegan Options

While the gastropub has retained its famous signature dish - the legendary Prime Minister Burger - alongside its popular pies and classic fish and chips, the mains menu has expanded significantly. New additions include a succulent pork chop, roasted half chicken, and a zesty Cajun-style salmon. There is also the innovative Best of Both Beef Crumpet.

Cruisers looking for plant-based choices will find a much larger vegan selection, featuring standout dishes like the jackfruit and nori "no fish" cake.

Exclusive Cocktails and Sweet Treats

The update also brings an exclusive new drinks concept to the venue. Guests can pair their meals with a custom beer flight, a spritz cocktail flight, or choose from two brand-new signature cocktails: the bourbon-based Signature Cut Old Fashioned and the sweet Eton Fizz dessert cocktail, made with fresh strawberry juice.

To finish the night, the dessert menu introduces a decadent double chocolate brownie served with vanilla gelato and chocolate sauce, which is also available as a fully vegan and gluten-free option.
