P&O Epicurean Menus

Looking for the latest P&O Cruises Epicurean menus? This page brings together sample menu images from The Epicurean, P&O Cruises’ speciality restaurant, so you can see the dishes available before your cruise.

The Epicurean is a speciality dining restaurant found on selected P&O Cruises ships, offering a more elevated dining experience than the main restaurants. Menus can vary by ship, sailing and season, so the menus shown here are intended as a useful guide to the dishes you may encounter rather than a guarantee of what will be served on a particular cruise.

What is on the P&O Epicurean menu?

The Epicurean menu typically features a selection of starters, main courses and desserts, with dishes designed around contemporary British and international cuisine. Depending on the menu, you may find seafood, meat, vegetarian options and a range of indulgent desserts.

What changed on the Epicurean menu in 2026?

What's changed? 2026 update
New dishes Around 50 new dishes introduced
Vegan choices Dedicated vegan dishes added to the menu
Premium ingredients New dishes featuring Australian Wagyu and Iberico pork
Menu style A cleaner, more modern approach to Epicurean dining
Inspiration Influenced by elevated restaurants in London
Signature new dish Bloody Mary and Goats' Cheese 'Tomatoes'
Sustainability Greater use of ingredients to help minimise food waste

P&O Cruises introduced a major refresh of the Epicurean menu for summer 2026, rather than simply making a few small changes to the existing dishes. P&O says there are around 50 new dishes, with the new menu designed to feel cleaner, more modern and more focused on the quality and provenance of its ingredients.

The development team looked at current Epicurean dishes and guest favourites before rebuilding the menu, with particular attention paid to the proteins used in each dish. The new menu includes premium ingredients such as Australian Wagyu beef and Iberico pork loin, reflecting the greater emphasis on provenance and ingredient quality.

New vegan choices

One of the most significant changes is the introduction of vegan dishes. P&O says the previous Epicurean menu did not have dedicated vegan options, while the new menu specifically includes them. This makes the 2026 menu considerably more accessible to guests looking for plant-based choices.

New signature dishes

Among the new dishes highlighted by P&O is the visually striking Bloody Mary and Goats’ Cheese ‘Tomatoes’, which recreates the appearance of tomatoes as part of an inventive starter.

The new Wagyu dish is another example of the approach behind the menu. P&O says the kitchen is using more of the ingredient rather than wasting parts of it, including using Wagyu fat to cook the accompanying potatoes and onions and incorporating other parts of the joint into an amuse-bouche.

A more modern Epicurean experience

The 2026 menu was developed with inspiration from elevated restaurants in London, while deliberately avoiding an overly formal or pretentious approach. The aim is to make Epicurean feel more contemporary while retaining the restaurant’s emphasis on the overall dining experience, from the amuse-bouches and homemade breads to the main dishes and desserts.

Cruise Lowdown verdict: This is a substantial menu overhaul rather than a simple seasonal update. If you’ve dined at Epicurean before, the 2026 menu offers plenty of reasons to return, particularly if you want to try the new premium ingredients or the newly introduced vegan dishes.
