Viking, a pioneer in extraordinary ocean voyages, has just revealed exciting news for travel and cruise enthusiasts: three unprecedented itineraries that promise an exclusive exploration of China in 2024. This groundbreaking announcement opens the door to immersive journeys ranging from 10 to 20 days, uncovering the wonders of iconic cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
Set to operate from September to November, these unique voyages will be hosted by the Viking Yi Dun, formerly known as the Viking Sun. What sets these itineraries apart is the inclusion of domestic sailings along China's coast, revealing rarely-seen destinations and ports accessible only to Viking – a first for international visitors. The Viking Yi Dun, proudly sporting the Chinese flag, marks the first ship dedicated specifically to the foreign market to operate such domestic sailings in China.

2. Classic China & the Coast - 15 days; Beijing, Xian – Hong Kong (Shenzhen):
Combining the experiences of Viking's 10-day China Discovery voyage, this 15-day journey allows guests to see the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Terra Cotta Warriors, and other iconic landmarks. While sailing China's coastline, guests will experience a phenomenal diversity in languages, cultures, and cuisines.
3. China Discovery - 10 days; Shanghai – Hong Kong (Shenzhen):
