Holland America Line 2026 Alaska Season

Holland America Line Unveils 2026 Alaska Season with New Itineraries and Immersive Experiences

Holland America Line has announced the launch of its eagerly anticipated 2026 Alaska season, now available for booking. Running from April to September 2026, the season promises a variety of unique itineraries, ranging from seven to 28 days, offering guests the opportunity to explore the stunning landscapes and wildlife of Alaska.

Sailing roundtrip from Vancouver, Seattle, or between Vancouver and Whittier (Anchorage), Alaska, the itineraries will be operated by six of the line’s elegant ships: Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam, and Zaandam. Among the highlights of the season is the introduction of the new 14-day Great Alaska Explorer cruise, available roundtrip from both Vancouver and Seattle.

One of the standout voyages is the 28-day Alaska Arctic Circle Solstice cruise aboard the Noordam. This epic journey, which is returning for a third year, departs on 7th June 2026, coinciding with the summer solstice. The cruise, roundtrip from Seattle, will venture as far as the Bering Sea and into the Arctic Circle, visiting 11 Alaska ports, including Anchorage, Juneau, and Valdez, with overnight stays and late-night departures providing ample time to soak in the local culture and scenery.

Another exciting addition is the Great Bear Rainforest cruise on Noordam, departing 19th April 2026, roundtrip from Seattle. This itinerary includes an overnight stay in Prince Rupert and scenic cruising through the majestic Grenville Channel, Bella Bella, and Johnstone Strait, with a transit of the Seymour Narrows.

For those looking for shorter escapes, seven-day Alaska Inside Passage cruises will be available, sailing roundtrip from Vancouver on Koningsdam, Zaandam, and Nieuw Amsterdam. Alternatively, guests can embark on seven-day Alaskan Explorer cruises, departing roundtrip from Seattle on Eurodam and Noordam, featuring stops at Victoria, Ketchikan, Juneau, and Sitka, with breathtaking experiences at Glacier Bay and Dawes Glacier.

Prices for the 2026 Alaska season start from £1124 per person for a seven-day Alaska Inside Passage cruise on Zaandam, departing on 13th May 2026. Guests booking early can take advantage of the ‘Have It All’ package, which includes the ‘Early Booking Bonus’ with an Elite beverage package, up to three nights of specialty dining, up to $300 in shore excursion credit, a premium Wi-Fi package, and prepaid crew appreciation.

Dan Rough, Vice President of Revenue Management for Holland America Line, expressed his excitement about the new season: “We continue to build an Alaska programme that is unlike any other in the industry, deeply immersive and putting a spotlight on all the splendour that brings cruisers to Alaska. Whether it’s talking to a park ranger while observing a glacier calve in Glacier Bay, joining a whale-watching tour, or enjoying the freshest local fish that was just brought on board, we want our guests to return home feeling inspired.”

The 2026 season will also feature the ‘We Love Alaska’ programme, an enriching onboard experience that immerses guests in Alaskan culture. This programme includes expert-led workshops, Alaska Up Close presentations exploring stories of real Alaskans, destination-focused tours, and fine dining events that showcase local culinary traditions. Every Alaska cruise will include a scenic visit to the region’s magnificent glaciers, where the ships will rotate for a 360-degree view, allowing guests to fully appreciate the awe-inspiring ice formations.
