The Iconic Suite on Celebrity Beyond

The Iconic Suite is the largest and most luxurious suite in the entire Celebrity fleet with over 2,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor opulent space. There are only two of these suites on the ship and, even with the eye-watering price tag, they are very much in demand, I would love to tell you that I had stayed in one of these gorgeous suites, but sadly that was beyond my personal cruise budget. However, I was lucky enough to be hosted at a sail-away party in one of the Iconic Suites onboard a pre-inaugural stay on Celebrity Beyond and I was suitably impressed.

Offering a view as good as that of the Captain, the Iconic Suite is positioned high above the bridge forward on either side of Deck 12, (12100 Starboard and 12101 Port) affording panoramic 270 degree views from fore to aft.
The Iconic Suite sleeps up to 6 and has two-bedrooms and two-bathrooms. The interior space is 1892 sq ft, and there is an expansive furnished terrace of 689 sq ft, Off the living area there is also the Private Retreat Host’s pantry.
As with all the suites on Celebrity Beyond, and in fact The Retreat itself, The Iconic Suite has benefited from the design of world famous interior designer, Kelly Hoppen CBE. The living area has elevated furnishings and decor, including sumptuous sofas and rugs, dining table with six upholstered chairs, marble console tables, a bar area and even a golden swing chair which hangs from the ceiling. With high-end artwork, sculptures, screens and mood lighting, it all contributes to the luxurious feel of a home from home (if that home was a Bel Air penthouse).
Each bedroom has a King Size bed with a cashmere mattress and exclusive eXhale® bedding for added comfort. In the master bedroom, the bed is centrally placed in the room, facing the floor-to-ceiling window, which adds a sense of additional spaciousness. There is extensive tasteful storage and luxurious occasional seating. There is a run of glossy fitted wardrobes and vanity table along one wall, and a large retractable TV suspended from the ceiling at the foot of the bed.

Behind the bed is the doorway to the stylish en-suite bathroom with double vanity, full shower and huge jetted, whirlpool bath tub.
There is also additional wardrobe and storage space within the bathroom.
The Iconic Suite Terrace

The expansive 689 sq ft terrace of The Iconic Suite is an impressive outdoor space offering unprecedented sea views. From the port side suite you can see down the ship to The Magic Carpet and beyond, whilst forward you have uninterrupted views of the horizon. The Terrace has a two-person day bed, comfy sofas, rattan ‘snugglers’ for two, and a dining table and chairs. There is also that oh-so-important hot tub.

Of course, as with any of the suites onboard you benefit from all the amenities of The Retreat, including The Retreat Sundeck - although I think if I was staying in the Iconic Suite I would only venture out to go ashore.
The Iconic Suite price varies according to duration and itinerary, but entry point is around $16000 (£13000) per person, with discounts for additional occupants.
