Strawberry Daiquiri

Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri Recipe

This week’s cocktail is inspired by a fellow-blogger’s instagram post this afternoon, which made me very envious. Thank you Jenni. Also the sun is beating down, Wimbledon is on the telly and it is the season for luscious Kent Strawberries! Perfect!

Ingredients

Recipe makes one serving (I know - not gonna be enough😘)

🍓250g fresh strawberries

🍓1 teaspoon sugar

🍓35ml / 2 ounces white rum

🍓2 tbsp strawberry/citrus liqueur (optional)

🍓25ml / 1 ounce lime juice

🍓1 cup ice

🍓half strawberry to garnish

Method

Chill a cocktail glass of your choice (I prefer a hurricane glass).

1. Place the ice in the bottom of the blender and crush.

2. Combine all the other ingredients in the blender.

3. Blend until it gets the smooth.

4. Pour into a glass and garnish it with half a strawberry.

5. Serve and repeat.
