Riviera Travel has unveiled the inaugural itinerary programmes for its two newly constructed river ships, Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, poised to set sail in 2025.
The 178-guest Riviera Radiance will embark on six distinct voyages along the Danube, boasting 35 departures throughout the season. These include:
Blue Danube
An eight-day journey encompassing Vienna, Dürnstein, Budapest, and Bratislava. Departures span from April to October 2025, with prices starting from £1,849pp.
Blue Danube for Solo Travellers
An eight-day solo expedition mirroring the Blue Danube route, departing on 31 March 2025 and 3 November 2025. Prices start from £2,599pp.
Budapest to the Black Sea
A fifteen-day exploration featuring guided tours of Veliko Tarnovo, Arbanassi, the Churches of Ivanovo, Belogradchik Rock, and Mesolithic Lepenski Vir. Departures in May, June, and September 2025, with prices starting from £3,999pp.
New Year on the Danube
A six-day festive journey with New Year’s celebrations in Vienna, and ports of call in Budapest and Bratislava. Departing on 28 December 2025, prices commence at £1,999pp.
Christmas on the Danube
An eight-day festive route covering Bratislava, Wachau Valley, Melk, Salzburg, Linz, Vienna, and Budapest. Departing on 21 December 2025, prices start from £2,399pp.
Danube’s Imperial Cities & Yuletide Markets
A six-day exploration visiting Budapest, Vienna, and Bratislava. Prices start from £1,299pp, with departures in December 2025.

The 114-guest Riviera Rose will navigate the Douro, offering the Highlights of the Douro Valley & Salamanca cruise. With a total of 30 departures, the maiden voyage is scheduled for 1 April 2025. This eight-day cruise will showcase tours of Porto’s old town, Mateus Palace, and Castelo Rodrigo, along with port tastings and a stop in Salamanca. Prices for this cruise start from £2,099pp.
Itineraries for these exciting journeys will be open for booking from 29 February 2024. Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, launching in March and April 2025, respectively, introduce several firsts for the river cruise line, notably bearing the Riviera name on their bows.

Guests can avail early booking discounts of up to £300pp on select Douro and Danube itineraries for Riviera Rose and Riviera Radiance when booked by 28 March 2024.
Throughout the 2024/25 season, Riviera will operate seven ships on the Danube and the Douro, offering 163 departures. Additionally, river cruises are available on the Rhine, Seine, and Rhone.
