A new chapter is about to begin for Windstar Cruises — and it’s called Star Seeker. Launching in December 2025, this purpose-built 224-guest yacht is the cruise line’s first-ever Star Class new build, bringing a fresh evolution to Windstar’s award-winning small ship experience.
With an intimate size, contemporary design, and an emphasis on connection and comfort, Star Seeker has been thoughtfully crafted to feel as welcoming as your favourite boutique hotel, but with the ever-changing ocean as your backdrop.
Designed to Feel Different
Every corner of Star Seeker has been imagined with versatility and warmth in mind, making it easy for guests to enjoy both quiet moments and social encounters in the same inviting spaces.
At the heart of the ship, the Yacht Club sets the tone — a bright, airy lounge framed by floor-to-ceiling windows and a striking skylight. Here, early risers can start the day with handcrafted coffee and light bites, while evenings bring a cosy shift to cocktails and conversation, all underscored by panoramic sea views.
The ship’s Main Lounge offers another hub for gathering, relaxation and entertainment. Designed with modern lines, neutral tones and accents of fresh green, the space easily transforms from day to night: hosting lively port talks, trivia, and enrichment seminars by day, and live music and crew performances — a beloved Windstar tradition — once the sun sets.
A Culinary Journey at Sea
Windstar has always taken dining seriously, and Star Seeker is no exception.
Guests will find Amphora Restaurant, the line’s signature venue, at the heart of their dining experience. Amphora is as elegant as it is inviting, offering multi-course dinners inspired by the cruise line’s partnership with the James Beard Foundation — with no reservations required. During the day, the atmosphere becomes more relaxed, with a vibrant buffet and live cooking stations for breakfast and lunch, alongside tailored à la carte options.
For those craving something new, Star Seeker introduces Basil + Bamboo, an all-new specialty restaurant that blends Mediterranean and Asian flavours in an intimate setting. The best part? Unlike many other cruise lines, there’s no extra charge to dine here — although reservations are recommended for this culinary highlight.
And for lovers of flame-grilled perfection, Star Grill serves up barbecued meats, seafood and vegetables in the open air, with ocean views enhancing every bite.
Prefer a night in? Windstar’s complimentary 24-hour room service allows guests to enjoy Amphora’s full dinner menu in the privacy of their own suite.
Setting Sail for New Adventures
Once christened in Miami on 15th January 2026, Star Seeker will embark on an inspiring collection of itineraries — from Caribbean island-hopping and Alaskan wilderness cruising to the shores of Japan and the hidden treasures of Southeast Asia, including Thailand and Vietnam.
Whether you’re lounging at the Yacht Club with coffee in hand, dining under the stars at Amphora, or toasting new friendships in the Main Lounge, Star Seeker offers the perfect balance of comfort, culinary excellence and curated exploration — all in Windstar’s signature casual, welcoming style.
The journey starts this December. Are you ready to get onboard?
