Cunard, the world’s most iconic luxury cruise line, has revealed a revitalised Queen Elizabeth following an extensive three-week transformation at Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore. The elegant 2,000-guest ship is now set to embark on her debut season sailing from Miami and her first-ever Alaska voyages from Seattle.

Queen Elizabeth’s highly anticipated Alaska season launches on 12 June from Seattle, while her inaugural Caribbean voyage from Miami departs on 16 October. This 12-night roundtrip sailing will take guests to stunning destinations, including Bridgetown’s UNESCO-listed Garrison and the vibrant markets of Castries, St Lucia.

Signature venues such as the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Garden Lounge, and The Pavilion have been thoughtfully enhanced, ensuring a seamless connection to the ocean while providing luxurious spaces to unwind or enjoy al fresco dining.

Outdoor Decks Refreshed on Queen Elizabeth

Outdoor decks have also been refreshed, offering guests better opportunities to admire breathtaking Alaskan glaciers and Caribbean vistas. Enhancements include additional sun shades on the aft deck, providing greater comfort in warmer climates.

The Queens Room has undergone a stunning redesign inspired by the Royal Palace’s tradition of planting Mulberry trees since the reign of King James I. The new carpet pattern evokes the charm of a lush garden, adding to the room’s timeless elegance and opulence.

A key highlight of the refurbishment is the introduction of The Pavilion Wellness Café, which debuted in 2024 on Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne. This wellness-focused venue offers breakfast, lunch, and daytime dining, with a menu celebrating plant-based cuisine alongside sustainably sourced meat, fish, and dairy.

Guests can also enjoy the exclusive Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea programme, first introduced on Queen Anne. This industry-first collaboration offers three-day wellness packages designed for relaxation, energy restoration, or recovery—delivering a rejuvenating experience at sea.

A Historic Miami Season

For the first time in Cunard’s history, one of its iconic ships will spend a full season in Miami. Queen Elizabeth will operate a dedicated programme of roundtrip Caribbean voyages, with itineraries ranging from 9 to 28 nights. Guests will have the opportunity to visit some of the region’s most sought-after destinations, including Montego Bay, Jamaica; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and St John’s, Antigua.

Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, said:

As Queen Elizabeth embarks on this exciting new chapter, we are thrilled to offer guests an even more refined onboard experience. The beautifully updated spaces blend classic Cunard style with modern comfort. With a full season based in Miami for the first time, more guests from the US and around the world can experience the Caribbean with Cunard’s signature luxury. The region continues to be a favourite for travellers on both sides of the Atlantic, and we look forward to welcoming guests on board.”
