This Week’s Best Cruise Deals for UK Travellers

Best Cruise Deals This Week for UK Travellers - 4 October 2026

If you’re looking for a cruise bargain, there are some interesting offers around this week, including discounted autumn sailings, short breaks from the UK and early deals for 2027.

I’ve picked out the offers that stand out for their price or genuine saving. Where the fare comes from a travel agent rather than the cruise line, this is stated.

Deal of the Week: MSC Virtuosa

4 nights from £275pp 15 October 2026

MSC Virtuosa sails from Southampton on a four-night mini cruise to Cork.

At £275pp, this is one of the lowest current cruise fares I’ve found for a Southampton departure.

Best Cunard Bargain: Queen Mary 2

4 nights from £429pp 6 November 2026

Queen Mary 2 sails from Southampton on a four-night break to Rotterdam.

At £429pp, this is a relatively inexpensive way to experience Cunard, particularly for anyone who has wanted to try Queen Mary 2 without booking a longer voyage.

Best P&O Short Break: Britannia

5 nights from £469pp 11 October 2026

Britannia sails from Southampton on a Belgium and Netherlands cruise.

The current P&O fare is £469pp, making this one of the more competitive short breaks available from Southampton this week.

Best Marella Discount

7 nights from £1,094pp 14 October 2026

Marella Discovery’s Aegean Delights sailing from Limassol currently has a £484pp discount.

The itinerary includes Rhodes, Kusadasi for Ephesus, Patmos, Marmaris and Alanya.

The fare includes return flights and an all-inclusive cruise, including tips, so it shouldn’t be compared directly with the cruise-only prices above.

Booking: Marella Cruises/TUI

Marella is also currently running its Cruise of the Week, with an additional £100 saving on a selected sailing each week.

Best Long Cruise: Arvia

13 nights from £799pp 10 October 2026

P&O Cruises’ Arvia sails from Southampton on a Mediterranean cruise visiting Spain and France.

At £799pp for 13 nights, this is an interesting option for anyone looking for a longer no-fly cruise without paying four figures per person.

Booking: P&O Cruises

P&O’s current Southampton listings also show several other October departures, including Britannia’s five-night Belgium and Netherlands sailing at £469pp.

Best Family Deal to Check: October Half Term

MSC Virtuosa - 7 nights from around £754pp 24 October 2026

MSC Virtuosa’s seven-night Southampton sailing falls during the October half-term period for many UK schools and visits destinations in France and Spain.

It is worth comparing this with P&O’s similar October half-term departures before booking, particularly if you’re travelling as a family.

Cruise.co.uk currently has a dedicated school-holiday section covering October half term, Christmas, February half term, Easter and the 2027 summer holidays, with current booking incentives including low deposits and extra discounts for some customers.

Best 2027 P&O Deal

Arvia - 7 nights from £669pp 10 April 2027

Arvia’s Norwegian Fjords cruise from Southampton currently shows from £669pp, with a balcony option from £869pp.

The current agent offer also includes up to £270 onboard spending money per cabin and a £1pp deposit.

This is particularly worth checking for families because the departure falls close to the Easter school-holiday period.

Best 2027 No-Fly Royal Caribbean Deal

Freedom of the Seas - 7 nights from £651pp 16 May 2027

Freedom of the Seas sails from Southampton on a seven-night Spain and France itinerary.

This gives UK cruisers the opportunity to experience Royal Caribbean without flying to the Mediterranean.

Best 2027 Marella Offer

7 nights from £1,267pp May 2027

Marella is currently advertising selected seven-night May 2027 cruises from £1,267pp.

There are also current headline prices of £1,417pp for Majorca sailings between May and October 2027 and £938pp for seven-night Canaries cruises between November 2026 and February 2027.

Marella cruises include all-inclusive dining and drinks as standard, with tips included, so these fares represent a different proposition from cruise-only deals.

The Lowdown

The £275pp MSC Virtuosa mini cruise is the standout low-cost deal this week.

For something more special, the £429pp Queen Mary 2 break is worth considering, while Marella’s £484pp saving makes its Aegean sailing particularly interesting for anyone looking for an all-inclusive fly-cruise.

Families should look beyond the cheapest headline fare and concentrate on sailings that actually fall within their school holidays. The October half term and April 2027 Easter-period cruises are therefore worth checking carefully.

Cruise prices can change quickly, and the cheapest fares are usually based on two people sharing an inside cabin. Always check the final price, cabin category, inclusions and booking conditions before booking.

Prices checked 4 October 2026. Fares and availability can change without notice.
