How can you find your way around new Virgin Voyages ship, Valiant Lady with 1408 Cabins and suites over 17 decks? Well Valiant Lady has the same layout as her sister ship, Scarlet Lady, so if you have already sailed on her you will know the layout. Assuming you are a Virgin Voyages’ virgin however, using these deck plans for Valiant Lady will get you orientated in no time. Whether you want to know where your cabin is on Valiant Lady, or where the Pool deck, restaurants and bars are on this lovely Lady Ship, then check out the deck plans below.

So, Starting at the top…
VALIANT LADY DECK 17
“I’m on top of the world, Ma! The top deck is for those who crave outdoor exercise and well-being, home as it is to The Runway (jogging track) and The Perch for outdoor yoga. Both of these feel-good spaces were designed by Concrete Amsterdam.
The Runway
Red on the Deck Plan
The Runway is a stand-alone running track which forms a halo at the top of the ship where Sailors can run, skate or simply strut their stuff with fabulous sea views.
The Perch
Yellow on Deck Plan
Offering 360 degree ocean views, The Perch is a secluded sundeck which is perfect for sunrise and/or sunset yoga.
The remainder of Deck 17 is crew access only.
VALIANT LADY DECK 16
Deck 16 is the place to be for the beautiful people (of course I mean US!). It is perfect for fitness lovers, sun worshippers and VIPs. Great for people watching too! From mid-ships to aft, Deck 16 is dedicated to the body-beautiful.
The Net at The Athletic Club (Aft)

At the very back of the ship (Aft) on Deck 16 you will find The Net ( ) - a suspended catamaran net where you can hang out (literally) over the ocean (if you dare), and The Athletic Club Bar for some much-needed libations.
The Athletic Club/Training Camp (Aft-Mid Port/Starboard)
The Athletic Club Green/Training Camp Lilac on Deck Plan
The Athletic Club is an outdoor training zone incorporating a boxing ring, strength and gymnastic equipment, and a sports area. Inspired by New York sports clubs of the 1920s, the Athletic Club features oversized outdoor play equipment, the largest daybed at sea, cabanas for relaxation and a sports bar, The Training Camp offers complimentary group fitness classes.
The Cabanas

On starboard side is a private hideaway called The Cabanas where, for a supplement, you can tuck yourself away in one of the private white wooden cabanas with a double daybed, seating and your own fridge to keep those bubbles on ice.
Sun Club (Mid-Forward Port/Starboard)

Midships-Forward is home to the sun-worshipping sanctuary known as the Sun Club which features a spacious sunbathing area, incorporating the Sun Bar and the Sun Club Cafe which is an outdoor eatery so you can re-fuel without giving up the rays. There are two circular stairways leading down to the pool deck below on Deck 15.’
Richard’s Rooftop (Forward)

The very front of the ship is dedicated to the exclusive area known as Richard’s Rooftop (shaded aqua).. Richard’s Rooftop is a chic outdoor lounge designed by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio, which is reserved for Valiant Lady’s suite guests.
VALIANT LADY DECK 15
Feeling peckish? Head to the rear (aft) of deck 15 for some quick bites. Remember all 20 plus restaurants and eateries are included in your voyage fare.
The Galley (Aft)

The Galley is a market-style food hall (encompassing port and starboard) offering a range of over 8 food stands and food carts including a bakery, a burger grill, taco shack, sushi bar and a 24 hour American Diner, all offering cooked/prepped-to-order dishes. This is most definitely not a buffet - but certainly offers something to suit everyone’s appetite.

Gunbae (Aft)

Aft Portside (left) is Gunbae a Korean-style BBQ offering a social, interactive fun dining experience. Frameless grills are fitted into each table so sailors can grill their own grill meats to their preference. Expect a loud, lively crowd, especially as each meal begins with a complimentary round of soju, a Korean distilled spirit, and drinking games are encouraged throughout the evening.
B-COMPLEX (Midships)

After indulging in The Galley, you might want to work off those calories. Midships you will find B-Complex the ultimate fitness and wellbeing complex featuring on portside (left) B-Complex Burn & Bike, and starboard (right) B-Complex Build & Balance. Both feature stunning ocean views.
The Well-Being Pool (Midships)

On the open deck, immediately outside B-Complex, is The Well-Being Pool. Designed by Concrete Amsterdam, the area features a huge whirlpool, two plunge pools, an artistic adult-playground and fitness apparatus called MyBeast designed by Equilibria.
Gym & Tonic (Midships)

In need of refreshment after your workout? Try Gym & Tonic, a bar serving fresh cold-pressed juices and handcrafted cocktails.
Aquatic Club (Midships)

Midships-forward is where the Aquatic Club is situated - a place for poolside lounging, splashing and soaking up the sun. This is the main pool area with a central swimming pool and lots of sunbathing space.
Aquatic Club Bar (Midships)

Unlike many ships, Valiant Lady has got a deck thirteen. Many cruise ships won’t have a thirteenth deck (or at least not numbered 13) out of long-held superstitions. Not so with Virgin Voyages. Deck 13 on Valiant Lady is purely an accommodation deck featuring, Solo Insider, The Insider, Sea Terrace, Central Sea Terrace, XL Sea Terrace, Sweet Aft with Biggest Terrace and two Cheeky Corner Suites.

VALIANT LADY DECK 7
On Deck 7 you’re in heaven! This is where you will find many of the public areas including some of the restaurants and bars on Valiant Lady. There are no cabins or suites on this deck.
The Dock & The Dock House (Aft)

The Dock is a rustic beach club-inspired space designed by Roman and Williams. Carts of Mediterranean-inspired small plates, dips and mezzes will cater to grazers, while an array of fresh meat and seafood skewers will be flame grilled to order.
The Social Club, The Arcade and The Loose Cannon (Mid-Aft)

Fun and Games all the way in this area of the ship. The Social Club is a cool place to hang out during the day or evening, with bar games, indoor shuffle board, quizzes and more. All that fun can make you peckish so there is a hotdog menu plus you can grab some pretzels or savoury cracker jacks (for UK Sailors, its a mix of popcorn and nuts - Valiant Lady’s take is a bit more sophisticated and extra delicious (obviously). You can also get floats and shakes at an extra cost.
The Arcade is exactly that - a small room with game machines. The Arcade is a throwback to the epic childhood arcade games of our past — like pacman and other various vintage arcade games, a race car game, air hockey tables, a shuffleboard table and a foosball table.
The Loose Cannon is a nautically-themed bar inspired by the traditional-yet-cool seaside bars of Brighton. Loose Cannon features wooden tables with white/navy painted bentwood bar stools/chairs. The polished bar even features a brass ships bell - which is rung to announce quizzes and games.
The Pizza Place (Midships Port Side)

The Pizza Place is THE place for the perfect pizza - pretty much 24/7. Eat in or takeaway. Made freshly to order, this venue proves very popular, particularly before bedtime after a good night out.
Lick Me Till Ice Cream (Midships Port Side)

This is a complimentary retro ice cream parlour (yes proper ice cream - not frozen yoghurt) serving up 6 flavours of this homemade dairy deliciousness in cones (and cups on request) one or two scoops?
The Roundabout (Midships Central)

If Valiant Lady had an atrium, it would be the two-storey Roundabout spanning Decks 6 and 7, which is It is the hub of the ship. Instead of a glitzy staircase, the Roundabout is a pleasing spiral walkway with lit stair treads and affording 360 views as you descend/ascend.
Draught Haus (Midships Port Side)

This cosy bar is the perfect casual meet up spot on the ship to grab an expertly brewed beer with friends. Offering eight beers on tap, Draught Haus offers a wide range of bottled artisanal beers, shots, shot-cocktails and boilermakers. (See my Valiant Lady Bar post HERE)
Grounds Club (Midships Starboard)

Grab your caffeine fix with a custom Virgin Voyages blend and a clear conscience at one of the ship’s two dedicated coffee bars located in the heart of the ship on deck 7. Expert baristas craft your beverages at Ministry of Ground and with the Virgin partnership with Intelligentsia Coffee, you can be assured of their green credentials (Read more on this partnership in my earlier post here).
Chart Room (Midships Starboard)

Situated his is where you will find Sailor Services who can help you with all your onboard queries, reservations etc.
Necessities Shop (Midships Starboard)

The Necessities Shop is the go-too for all those forgotten but much needed items.
Voyage Vinyl (Midships Starboard)

At top of The Roundabout you will find Voyage Vinyl, Valiant Lady’s onboard record shop and the go-to spot for Sailors to experience music from all eras and genres. If you are looking for something unique to take home as a souvenir, you can shop for limited-edition curated albums and special editions of classics. You can also purchase music magazines, headphones and even record players. Adjacent to Voyage Vinyl, you will find a live DJ Box playing various sets during the day/evening.
The Manor (Mid-Forward Port Side)

Valiant Lady’s signature nightclub designed by Roman and Williams, and inspired by Richard Branson’s history in the music industry and his first ever Virgin music studio of the same name. Live music played her plus some production shows (Virgin Voyages style of course), and dancing into the early hours. This is the upper level of the two-storey Manor - offering a great view of the stage and dance floor below (sometimes reserved for VIPs).
Sip (Mid-Forward Starboard)
Purple on Deck Plan
Sip is a decadent lounge designed to be enjoyed with a chilled glass of bubbles. Featuring a diverse range of Champagne labels, including Moët & Chandon – Sip is Virgin Voyages’ featured Champagne house. You can opt for a glass of bubbles priced from $9 or splash out on a $1,000 vintage bottle. In a nod to Virgin’s quintessential British heritage and eccentricity, Sip also offers a signature afternoon high tea.
The Groupie (Forward Port Side)

Valiant Lady’s bookable private karaoke, gaming and movie lounge. Designed by Roman Coppola, The Groupie was designed as a modernist take on a Japanese-style karaoke room for Sailors to enjoy singing along to their favourite tunes with friends.
Red Room (Forward)

This is the main performance area - designed as the first transformational multi-form theatre at sea. The Red Room transforms into four different configurations - a traditional Proscenium stage, an alley stage used in fashion shows, a dance flat-floor configuration, and finally a unique reverse stage setup. This first at-sea theatre will enable Virgin Voyages to create completely different experiences for each day of the voyage. Check the app or LED boards for daily listings.
Valiant Lady Deck 6
Deck Six has more lovely public spaces for Sailors to enjoy including more restaurants and bars on Valiant Lady.
The Wake (Aft)

Whilst the.Restaurant is on Deck 6, the entrance is actually on Deck 7. Serving a sophisticated take on steak and seafood, the Wake is the most glamorous restaurant on the ship offering a sumptuous mid-twentieth century chop-house atmosphere, a raw bar, table-side drink cart service and Champagne poured by the glass from a magnum bottle.
The Test Kitchen (Aft Port Side)

An almost clinical laboratory-like eatery, part cooking school and part restaurant, serving a six course surprise tasting menu, with optional drinks pairings Both delicious and innovative .
Extra Virgin (Aft Starboard)

Valiant Lady’s delicious Italian Restaueant, Extra Virgin is the ship's trattoria serving regionally-inspired food. The space features communal tables and a private dining room.

High Street is Valiant Lady’s own mini shopping mall, featuring a selection of sophisticated boutiques including a Virgin Voyages merchandise outlet.

On the Rocks is easy to find at the base of The Roundabout It’s a lively hub and will often have some sort of entertainment going on Great mixology plus this bar’s speciality - aged whiskies served, as it’s name implies, On The Rocks.
Dry Dock (Midships Starboard)

The ship’s hair salon - a blow dry and hairstyling beauty bar complete with hair nourishing and scalp treatments designed by Softroom.
Stubble & Groom (Midships Starboard)

An intimate, upscale barber shop which is an oasis for men who enjoy being pampered and well-groomed. Stubble & Groom offesr a one-of-a-kind experience at sea with hot-lather shaves, haircuts, beard trimmings and the only male pedicure spa at sea overlooking a porthole ocean view.
Booty Free Shop (Midships Starboard)

Squid Ink (Midships Starboard)

Virgin Voyages boast the first ever tattoo studios on-board a cruise ship. Squid Ink offers tattooing, permanent makeup and body piercing services. The studio also has two resident tattoo artists, as well as an occasional guest artist from the World Famous Tattoo Ink Pro Team. Interior design by Softroom.
The Roundabout (Midships Central)

The glamorous spiral walkway leads down to Deck 6 with access to mid-ships gangways, shops and On the Rocks bars and contemporary seating areas.
The Casino Bar (Mid-Forward Starboard)

The Casino Bar is adjacent to the Casino and shares the same opening hours, should you wish to toast Lady Luck.

Although comparatively small, the Casino on Valiant Lady features the ubiquitous slot machines and gaming tables.
The Manor (Forward Port Side)

This is the lower floor of the two-storey Manor nightclub, and the main entrance is a definite must-see even if you aren’t a party animal. It is probably the most Instagramable location on the ship and definitely the most iconic. With its corridor of infinity mirrors and twinkly fairy lights, you will definitely be stopping for that must-have selfie.

The Den is a Flex Event Space - a multi-purpose venue.
The Smoking Room (Forward Starboard)

As the name suggests, this is where to head if you are a smoker, being the only internal space where smoking is permitted.

The lower entrance to this two-tiered versatile theatre space - several of Valiant Lady’s shows are performed here.

Deck 5 has a mix of cabins and public areas. Mid Aft you will find restaurants Razzle Dazzle (Port) and Pink Agave (Starboard), plus Sailor Services and the fabulous Redemption Spa.
Cabins include The Sea View, Solo Insider, The Insider and Social Insider. Accommodation are all Mid-Forward.
Razzle Dazzle (Aft Port Side)

Razzle Dazzle is Valiant Lady’s Vegetarian/Vegan forward restaurant. Featuring a naughty/nice menu (non-veggies can add meat), it is also home to the regular drag brunch. Vibrant decor and fabulous menu, plus the Red Bar. Not to be missed - try the Impossible Burger and the fairy bread if nothing else.
Pink Agave (Starboard)

Valiant Lady’s upscale Mexican Restaurant, featuring a fabulous Mezcal Bar, Pink Agave has a stunning entrance and a delicious menu. Be sure to book at least once (see my Restaurant Guide here for menus and photos).
Sailor Services (Midships Starboard)

This is the reception/help desk - whether its housekeeping issues, booking restaurants, arranging private events. This is your go to place.
Redemption Spa (Midships)
Aqua on Deck Plan
The luxurious Redemption Spa on Valiant Lady is complete with hydrotherapy pool, mud room, salt room, cold plunge pools, quartz beds, and rejuvenating spa treatments. By night, Sailors can complete their well-being journey by attending one of the voyage’s evening spa parties where a killer DJ will transform the spa’s thermal suite into a mermaid hideaway extravaganza.
Valiant Lady Deck 4
On Deck 4 is the Tender Boarding Areas (both Port and Starboard, forward and midships) plus the Medical Center.
On Deck 4 you will find Tender Boarding both forward and midships (port and starboard), plus the Medical Centre shown in yellow on the deck plan.
