Set Sail on Nostalgia as Princess Cruises Announces Second Love Boat-themed Cruise
Princess Cruises, celebrated for its iconic role in "The Love Boat" series, is bringing back the magic with a second themed cruise. Following the success of the inaugural Love Boat cruise in 2022, fans of the beloved show can embark on a journey with Doc, Gopher, Isaac, and Vicki Stubing aboard the Enchanted Princess. The seven-day roundtrip cruise from New York to Canada & New England is set to sail from August 31 to September 7, 2024.
Princess Cruises Celebrations Ambassador Jill Whelan, (aka Vicki Stubing), will be joined by fellow Love Boat cast members Bernie Kopell (Doc), Fred Grandy (Gopher), and Ted Lange (Isaac). Ezra Freeman, the bartender from CBS's The Real Love Boat, will also join the cast, along with surprise guests yet to be announced.
The Love Boat-themed activities are sure to delight fans, featuring a Sailaway party, meet-and-greet opportunities, Love Boat-inspired guest activities with prizes, and a cocktail demonstration hosted by Ezra Freeman and Ted Lange, showcasing the famous finger point. A symbolic renewal of vows ceremony, officiated by the cast, will also be held, accompanied by a commemorative certificate.
The cruise promises a trip down memory lane with Love Boat episodes airing on Movies Under the Stars and in staterooms. Fans can engage in cast Q&A sessions, where the stars will share their favourite memories and stories from their careers. Additionally, there will be Love Boat trivia with the Cruise Director, themed décor, photo backdrops, and exclusive merchandise.
