P&O Cruises Launch Four New Drinks Packages from May 2023
Important update about P&O Cruises Drinks Packages
P&O Cruises has just announced the launch of four new drinks packages on cruise holidays of five nights or more, all for a fixed price per person, per day. The new drinks packages will be available on board Iona and Ventura from May 20, 2023 and across the rest of the fleet by July 2023.
I will be updating my popular Comprehensive Guides to P&O Cruises Drinks Packages as soon as possible but in the meantime here is an overview of key details.
You can now choose from four different packages:
• The Refresh drink package replaces the Childrens' Drinks Package offering a selection of soft drinks
• The Alcohol-free drink package is an improved Non-Alcoholic Drinks Package. With this package, guests get an enhanced range of soft drinks, non-alcoholic beers, non-alcoholic wines and non-alcoholic spirits, and selection of Costa Coffee (small).
• The Classic drink package offers a wide range of soft drinks, hot drinks, beers, 175ml wines, 125ml prosecco, selected range of cocktails and selected 25ml spirits including P&O Cruises exclusive Golden Tide Rum and Marabelle Gin
• The Deluxe drink package offers everything from the Classic and more! This includes 25ml and 50ml measures of most spirits, a wider selection of wines by the glass (including 250ml), a further selection of cocktails and the full range of Costa Coffee.

The Refresh Drinks Package
Price before holiday: £9.85 | On-board price: £10.95 (per person, per day)
The package includes a selected range of soft drinks including favourites such as lemonade, Pepsi and juices.
For guests travelling with children aged 16 years and under and who choose either a Classic or Deluxe drinks package, the Refresh drinks package will be provided at no extra cost.
The Alcohol-free Drinks Package
Price before holiday: £22.45 | On-board price: £24.95 (per person, per day)
The Alcohol-free package includes everything from the Refresh package, plus Costa Coffee, teapigs™ and an extended range of soft drinks.
The Classic Drinks Package
Price before holiday: £40.45 | On-board price: £44.95 (per person, per day)
The Classic drinks package includes everything from the Refresh and Alcohol-free drinks packages, plus a choice of spirits, wines and classic cocktails. Guests will also be able to sample P&O Cruises exclusive Marabelle Gin and Golden Tide Rum with a mixer of their choice.
For guests travelling with children 16 years and under and who choose a Classic drinks package, the Refresh drinks package will be included at no extra cost
Guests will also receive a 20% discount on drinks excluded from this package.
The Deluxe Drinks Package
Price before holiday: £49.45 | On-board price: £54.95 (per person, per day)
The Deluxe drinks package includes the same selection as all of the other drinks packages plus an extended range of cocktails, spirits and wines.
For guests travelling with children 16 years and under and who choose a Deluxe drinks package, the Refresh drinks package will be included at no extra cost
Guests will also receive a 20% discount on drinks excluded from this package.
Drinks Packages cannot be purchased on a ‘per day’ basis and packages purchased on board are non-refundable. All adults in the same cabin must purchase the same package and all packages are limited to 15 drinks in any 24-hour period.

What If You Have Already Purchased A Drinks Package?
Any previous drinks packages purchases that have been made via My P&O Cruises will be automatically upgraded. If you have previously purchased a drinks package via My P&O Cruises you will automatically receive an improved new package at no extra cost. This will have been communicated to you via an email from P&O Cruises, informing you of your new package entitlement as per below:

Non-alcoholic drinks package – The Alcohol-free drinks package
Ultimate drinks package – The Deluxe drinks package
