Further details on Gary Barlow’s role to be announced at exclusive launch event in London this evening but here is what we know so far.

Shrouded in mystery up till now, P&O Cruises have today announced that its new brand ambassador is none other than the fabulous Gary Barlow. This is a pioneering partnership set to fuse music with amazing travel experiences for guests on board in 2020,and Gary is set to SHINE in the role.

Gary Barlow is a producer, musician, songwriter and member of the legendary British pop group Take That. Details of Gary’s debut role are set to be announced at a major media event at St. Luke’s London Symphony Orchestra this evening (15 January). 

Gary is one of the UK’s most successful musicians and during his impressive career, he has written 15 Number One singles, won six Ivor Novello Awards, eight BRIT awards, sold over 45 million records worldwide and over eight million concert tickets. 

Aside from his achievements with Take That, he has also co-written and produced music for other renowned artists including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John and Robbie Williams. Gary has also turned his attention to the world of theatre, composing the score for the hugely successful ‘Finding Neverland’ and working alongside screenwriter Tim Firth to write the music and lyrics for musical ’The Girls’and also more recently working alongside his bandmates Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Robbie Williams to produce ‘The Band’ a record breaking musical featuring the music of Take That.  Whatever the crime entails I’m sure Gary will SHINE!
