5 Things you will Love About Norwegian Encore
Having been lucky enough to have been one of the first to sail on Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Encore this weekend, I wanted to bring you a quick taste!
Obviously, you will love way more than just these five highlights, and you can read more in my posts over the coming days and weeks. For now, however, these are some of Norwegian Encore’s best bits.

OK, strictly speaking these are two things, but if you have a sweet tooth like me, you will love the sweet treats on offer at both.

Coco’s is the place for chocoholics to head. With assorted chocolates from around the world, crepes, sundaes, coffees and lots more indulgent treats, you will not be able to resist Coco’s charms.

Norwegian Encore
Kinky Boots
One of the highlights of our mini-cruise onboard Norwegian Encore was the outstanding entertainment. Our favourite was the highly aclaimed, and hugely entertaining Kinky Boots. The show is a winner of six Tony Awards and has music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, and is a feel-good story based on true events. Many of the performers are experienced Broadway veterans and the whole show is a polished masterpiece. Make sure you book in advance as they are playing to packed houses.

Norwegian Encore

My favourite place onboard has to be the 180-degree indoor Observation Lounge. Offering expansive views through its floor-to-ceiling windows, I love the understated, contemporary elegance of its design. So spacious, that you never feel crowded. The various seating options are so comfy you will be forgiven if you drift off. There is a full-service bar, so you can enjoy a glass of bubbles whilst watching a glorious sunset. Perfect!

Norwegian Encore Speedway

This is one for the Adrenalin junkies amongst you. Boasting 1100 feet (394 metres) of track, Norwegian Encore Speedway is the largest race track at sea. There are high-speed curves suspended 13 feet (4 metres) off the side of the ship, and spectators can interact with the race too. There is an additional fee for the Speedway but it is worth every penny.

Norwegian Encore’s luxurious and exclusive The Haven, a ‘Ship within a Ship’, is a cruise goal for me! The cabins are fabulous, the personal attention is second-to-none, and the amenities befit a 6 Star Hotel.

The Haven Courtyard, (the pool area), is secluded and has a retractable roof to make the most of good weather. There is a modern, comfortable exclusive lounge and restaurant solely for the use of Haven residents. The all-inclusive Haven is really aspirational cruising!
