What is The Limelight Club?
The Limelight Club is an exclusive for-adults-only Supper Club offering cabaret-style entertainment alongside a delicious 3-course meal. Featuring entertainment by some of Britain’s best-loved musical talents, for “a little extra” (as P&O Cruises artfully refer to the supplement payable), this limited-capacity exclusive venue offers a fabulous show in an intimate atmosphere. It is a not-to-be missed experience, and it is recommended that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Is the Limelight Club included in Cruise Fare?
Whilst I’d highly recommend this venue, The Limelight Club isn’t included in your cruise fare. Due to its exclusivity and limited numbers, it attracts a small (ish) supplement which varies depending on the act billed to perform. Prices start from around £25/£35 (depending on artist performing) which includes a sumptuous 3-course meal unique to the venue, plus of course the show with a headliner.
Which Ships Have a Limelight Club?
The first ship to feature The Limelight Club was P&O Cruises Britannia, where it is situated on Deck 5 Forward opposite Reception.
Following its huge popularity on Britannia, The Limelight Club has also been introduced on new flagship P&O Iona. On Iona, The Limelight Club can be found starboard side mid-forward on Deck 6 Gala Deck opposite the Art Gallery.
New P&O Cruises ship, P&O Arvia, arriving in December 2022, will also feature The Limelight Club onboard on Deck 6.
What Food is Served In The Limelight Club?
A sumptuous three-course supper (plus appetiser) is served in The Limelight Club prior to the show. The menus alternate, but you can be sure the food will tantalise your taste-buds. The courses are creatively named as The Rehearsal (Appetiser); The Opening Act (Starter); The Headliner (Main Course); and The Grand Finale (dessert). There are two choices of starter and four choices of main course, including a vegetarian option.

Which Acts Appear in The Limelight Club?
Each cruise features a different act so it is worth checking with P&O Cruises to find out who will be appearing on your particular voyage. Most recently, Britannia Limelight Club has welcomed John Partridge of Eastenders fame, Toyah Wilcox, Max George of the band The Wanted and, a personal favourite of mine, Gareth Gates.
In her inaugural year, P&O Iona has featured such acts as cabaret queen La Voix; 80’s pop sensation, Sonia; TV & Musical Theatre star, Lea Mead and X-Factor stars, Jake Quickenden and Ray Quinn to name just some.

How to Book The Limelight Club
As the venue is ticketed and always oversubscribed, it is worth booking The Limelight Club in advance via your Cruise Personaliser or My P&O. If you have booked last minute, you can try to book once onboard.
