Holland America Line Launches Festive Food and Beverage Menus

Holland America Line is embracing the holiday season with the launch of exclusive festive-themed food and beverage menus, offering a range of culinary delights for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s Eve.

Guests onboard can look forward to highlights such as ‘Breakfast with Santa’, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feasts, special Hanukkah treats, and a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Families sailing in the Caribbean during the Christmas period can enjoy ‘Breakfast with Santa’, available in Pinnacle Grill or Tamarind restaurant. Santa will make a special appearance after breakfast, with photo opportunities for guests. Prices are $25 for adults and $15 for children aged 3-17.

For those looking for a magical afternoon, the ‘Nutcracker Afternoon Tea Service’ will be available on select sea days in December, featuring festive treats like a Grinch truffle, Santa hat cupcake, and reindeer chocolate tart, paired with savoury sandwiches.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners will be served in the main dining room and Italian-inspired Canaletto. The dining room will feature a global array of dishes, while Canaletto will offer a festive Italian menu.

For Hanukkah, traditional holiday treats will be served, including strawberry doughnuts, freshly baked challah, and crispy potato latkes with apple sauce and sour cream.

The Thanksgiving feast will offer guests a choice of turkey with cranberries and sweet potatoes, beef tenderloin with apple rösti, honey-baked ham, or mushroom ravioli with sage. Additionally, two fresh fish dishes by chef Masaharu Morimoto will be available at an extra cost.

New Year’s Eve celebrations will feature a special dinner in the dining room and an exclusive menu at Pinnacle Grill for $69 per person. The New Year’s Eve party continues on the Lido Deck with canapés and sparkling toasts at midnight.
