Norwegian Luna, sister ship to Norwegian Aqua, is now open for sale and will make its debut in April 2026.

Offering seven-day Caribbean voyages, the ship will sail from Miami, the cruise capital of the world.

The ship will feature stunning hull art by renowned street artist ELLE, inspired by the reflection of moonlight on the sea.

My regular readers will know how excited I get about new ships, which I monitor from concept to launch - and here is my latest obsession.

Norwegian Cruise Line® (NCL) has once again set the bar higher with its newest addition to the fleet, Norwegian Luna™. As the 21st ship in NCL’s cutting-edge lineup, this Prima Plus Class vessel promises to deliver a cruising experience like no other. With its inaugural sailings from Miami starting April 2026, Norwegian Luna is ready to take guests on a voyage of discovery, relaxation, and unforgettable memories.

A New Era in Cruising Excellence

At an impressive 1,056 feet long, weighing 156,300 gross tons, and accommodating 3,550 guests, Norwegian Luna is a marvel of modern shipbuilding. Not only is she 10% larger than her predecessors, Norwegian Prima® and Norwegian Viva®, but she is also a twin sister to Norwegian Aqua, another innovation from NCL. Together, these ships will redefine what it means to cruise in style and comfort.

But it’s not just about size. Norwegian Luna is built to impress with thoughtful, contemporary design led by renowned architects including AD Associates, Piero Lissoni, Rockwell Group, SMC Design, and Studio Dado. Every detail has been crafted to enhance your journey, whether you’re unwinding in luxury, indulging in gourmet dining, or seeking thrilling adventures.

These itineraries are designed to immerse you in the rich culture, scenic beauty, and tropical warmth of the Caribbean.

Innovation Meets Artistry - A Floating Masterpiece

Adding a distinctive touch to Norwegian Luna is its breathtaking hull art, designed by acclaimed street artist ELLE. Her vibrant work, titled La Luna, reflects the deep connection between humanity and the celestial forces of space. This visually stunning design not only celebrates the ship’s namesake but also leads guests on a journey of discovery from the moment they step aboard.

Thrills and Chill - Exciting New Features

Norwegian Luna is packed with state-of-the-art attractions designed for all ages. The Aqua Slidecoaster, a first-of-its-kind hybrid waterslide and rollercoaster, promises thrills like no other at sea.
