New for 2023, Holland America Line and Vital Choice Collaborate to Bring Fresh Fish Delights Onboard and Vacation Flavours Back Home

Holland America Line is taking its commitment to providing guests with the finest and responsibly sourced fish cuisine to new heights through a partnership with Vital Choice®. This collaboration is set to bridge the gap between enjoying exquisite seafood dishes at sea and in the comfort of one's home.

Vital Choice, a renowned source for premium wild-caught fish and seafood, shares the same dedication as Holland America Line in serving fish that is not only delicious but also environmentally responsibly sourced.

The exciting aspect of this partnership is that guests will now have the opportunity to savour three Vital Choice-inspired dishes, carefully crafted by Holland America Line chefs, in the comfort of their own homes. To make this possible, shoppers can order three different fish varieties online or through the Vital Choice and Harry & David catalogues. These fish varieties include Wild Alaska Halibut, Wild Pacific King Salmon, and Wild Chilean Sea Bass. The added bonus is that guests can also indulge in these delectable Vital Choice-inspired dishes while cruising in the Caribbean and Alaska.

Holland America Line's talented team of chefs has developed recipes that perfectly showcase the variety of fish that will be served onboard in the Lido Market and featured in the Vital Choice catalogue. Guests can look forward to experiencing these culinary creations on board.

The collaboration between Holland America Line and Vital Choice will be promoted through various channels, both on board and online, as well as through social media and email marketing. The initial rollout of these delectable dishes will begin this month in the Caribbean, with guests aboard the six Holland America Line ships able to choose the Gold Gala Pan-Seared Sea Bass dish in Lido Market. When the Alaska season resumes in April, six ships will offer Pacific Halibut with Lime Tarragon Aioli and Alaska Grilled King Salmon Filet with Capers and Dill in the Lido markets. The best part is that these fresh fish dishes at Lido Market will be complimentary for all guests.

Holland America Line's commitment to providing fresh and responsibly sourced fish doesn't end with this collaboration. They recently launched a new fresh fish program, which taps into a global network of 60 ports to source and serve 80 types of fresh fish in all their restaurants on board. This ensures that guests can enjoy destination-inspired menus with ingredients native to the regions where the ships are sailing. The program also includes daily fresh fish specials and an expansion of the "Savour My Catch" excursion, where guests can catch fish and have it prepared and served by chefs on board.
